Built for the
modern field.
Virelo is a precision agriculture company based in Central California that pairs biological crop solutions with high-precision, drone-captured field intelligence. We exist to put every acre within reach, combining licensed aerial application flights with actionable imagery so growers can act on what they see, not on what they guess.
Our work is built for the people who actually run the field: almond and pistachio operators, row-crop growers, and specialty-crop managers across Fresno, San Joaquin, Kern, Kings, Tulare, and Monterey counties. Whether the job is a timely spray pass, a cover-crop seeding, or a full-field aerial scan, Virelo brings the rig, the pilot, and the data together in one accountable service.
Virelo LLC is built and operated by a team of licensed, insured UAV pilots and agronomy-minded operators who believe precision in the air should translate directly to profit on the ground. Every flight is recorded during live operations, not rendered for marketing, so what you see on this site is what you get in the field.
A produce kid with a controller in his hand.
Virelo is led by Eugene, whose career in agriculture started in childhood — checking fields and quality on table grapes. That grounding in how a field actually runs, season after season, is the backbone of every flight plan Virelo files today.
He has spent over a decade as a licensed applicator, moving from post-harvest applications into aerial drone work as his passion for unmanned flight and applications merged. The shift was natural: Eugene has had a lifelong love of all things remote-controlled, from hobby aircraft to the precision UAV platforms now transforming crop protection. That combination — a working knowledge of crop timing and an instinct for what a remote-controlled aircraft can actually do in the air — is what sets Virelo apart from a technology company that happens to own a drone.
Every Virelo job is flown by a pilot who understands the crop, the window, and the product. We focus on our job: to applicate as prescribed by the grower and their PCAs, evenly and accurately across every acre — not just what a flight log says is efficient.
The right rig for the job.
We run the equipment that serves our growers the most. Accuracy and reliability are at the forefront of every decision we make, which means our equipment may change depending on the season and the crop — because no single platform is the right answer for every field, every canopy, and every window.
What stays constant is the standard: a tuned spray system with adjustable droplet size, a mapped line-by-line route that puts a controlled volume on every acre, and the low drift and zero soil compaction that make drone application a better fit than a ground rig on wet or fragile ground.
Acreage & crops treated.
Virelo has treated thousands of acres across California's Central Valley and Central Coast — from large-acreage row crops to tightly bordered orchards and hillside groves. Our crews have flown application passes over almonds, pistachios, grapes and vineyards, citrus, avocados, cherries, tomatoes, cotton, alfalfa, corn, wheat, milo, carrots, garlic, and onions.
That spread matters. A pilot who has flown everything from a flood-irrigated almond block to a hillside avocado grove reads a field differently — and brings the right flight plan, the right droplet, and the right timing to every job.
Licensed, bonded, and insured — every flight.
Compliance is not a feature; it is the baseline. Virelo operates to the standards the State of California and the FAA set for aerial pesticide application, and we carry the insurance and bonding to back it up.
