See what we applyThree aerial applications, one standard of precision. The work happens in the air — the value lands on the ground.

Pricing depends on acreage, product type, application volume, and field access. Most jobs fall between $20 and $60 per acre for spraying — from low-volume flat-terrain work to higher-volume mountainous terrain. We provide a written quote after a short field review so you know the exact number before we fly.
We spray almonds, pistachios, citrus, grapes, cherries, carrots, cotton, corn, wheat, milo, garlic, onions, avocados, tomatoes, and alfalfa, plus most other Central Valley and Central Coast crops. If your crop is not listed, ask us — we likely have experience with it. Each crop page on this site details the timing and applications we run for it.
Yes. Drone pesticide application is legal in California under CADPR and FAA rules, and the operator must hold a pest control business license and a qualified applicator certificate. Virelo operates under CADPR License No. 47312 with FAA Part 137 certification. Every flight also follows product label restrictions and local buffer requirements.

A single drone crew typically covers 80 to 150 acres per day depending on crop height, field shape, and product volume. Multi-drone crews scale that up proportionally for larger acreage. We plan the flight plan and battery swap schedule ahead of time so the day stays productive.
Yes. Drones fly right after irrigation or rain when the ground is too soft for a tractor or sprayer, with zero compaction on the root zone. That lets you hit a tight spray window on the right day instead of waiting for the field to dry. It is one of the biggest advantages of aerial application on irrigated ground.
Yes. We aerial-seed cover crops, alfalfa stands, and other small-seeded crops into both prepared ground and standing residue. Drone seeding works on wet ground a rig cannot travel, with no compaction and even spread across the field. We can also seed into an existing crop for a relay or interplant planting.
We serve Kern, Tulare, Fresno, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Monterey counties, with service-area pages for each. If your field is just outside one of these counties, reach out — we often take on adjacent ground. Each county page lists the crops and operations we run there.
